Celebrating YOU: This week’s spotlights [September 24, 2025]

by Nasia Davos

Happy Spotlight Wednesday!

I’m excited to share with you some of this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community.

Inspiring Milestone

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Paula Vosko from Colorado, US, celebrated 5 years smoke-free.

Paula smoked for over 50 years and smoking was part of her life. Living with a smoker, socializing, relaxing — everything revolved around cigarettes. But her health was declining and she felt stuck.

After finding the CBQ Quit Smoking Program, Paula decided to join and do every step believing this would work.

And it did.

Paula smoked her last cigarette at the end of the program. She quit at 69 years old, and wants everyone to know that it’s never too late, and freedom feels amazing.

5 years later, she’s still a happy non-smoker!

This is what she recently shared about her achievement:

“Sign up for the amazing 10 day program. It absolutely works. I’m a happy non smoker for almost 5 years now. I cannot begin to explain how wonderful life as a non smoker is.”

“People say they can’t afford to purchase this program and I get it. But cigarettes are so expensive so you really need to consider that. The program will pay for itself in just a few weeks.”

Inspiring Success

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Richard Kohn from Missouri, US, celebrated 2 years smoke-free.

In his own words, “Another long time heavy smoker who thought he’d never quit. Thank you CBQ for showing me how! I’m happy to report that I’m smoke free thanks to the CBQ program! I’m delighted to share my success with everyone on your webpage. The program taught me how to use mindpower to achieve my goal and I felt the program was very well thought out and easy to follow.”

2 years later, Rick is still a happy non-smoker, his health is improving, and he has lost 50 pounds!

“Thank you again for showing me the way. My health is improving and I’m working on losing weight. Last year I lost about 50 lbs!”

Inspiring Milestone

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Teri Edge from West Virginia, US, celebrated 4 years smoke-free. Teri smoked for 44 years and made many quit attempts. As she told me herself, she tried hypnosis (both in individual and group settings), quit smoking apps, the American Heart Association, and more!

As a retired psychiatric nurse, Teri knew how smoking affected her body and her mind, but her knowledge didn’t make it any easier to stop.

After coming across the CBQ Program online, she knew it was something different and wanted to give it a shot. Despite feeling afraid and doubtful, she followed the program to the letter, and the rest is history. Not only she succeeded, she also found quitting smoking EASY!

“Thank You for helping me and so many other people to stop smoking and overeating without using willpower with the two brilliant programs you created that actually are lifesaving!!!”

Teri is simply amazing! You can watch her sharing her story of how she quit smoking with the Cognitive Behavioral Quitting (CBQ) Program and the tips that helped her change her relationship with smoking for good.

Happy “Spotlight Day”!

Today, I’m excited to share with you some of this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community.

Let’s dive in!

Inspiring Freedom

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Jenna Force from Arizona, US celebrated 2 years smoke-free.

Jenna used to smoke for 25 years and then vaped for 5 years non-stop. She felt too addicted and didn’t believe she could ever be free.

After joining the program, she did all the steps and had her last vape.

The result? She has zero desire to smoke or vape.

She’s free!

If you feel afraid, worried, or doubtful you’ll ever be free, know you’re not alone.

This is what Jenna recently shared with our program members group:

“On September 10, 2023 I felt the same exact way. I believe in this program more than I believe in most things because I am celebrating two years on the 11th of this month. I can be around nicotine in a vape or cigarette and I do not care for it at all. I have zero desire. I am grateful to wake up each day not seeking/craving nicotine so intensely I cant think of anything else! I just simply don’t want it. I got my life back.

I smoked for 25 years, I double fisted vapes for the last five- no joke one in each hand.

Today, I don’t even think about it anymore. You can. You will. Keep shining and get excited about this next chapter, it’s amazing!”

CBQ program member Jenna Force is still smoke-free

Inspiring Milestone

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Pauline Westfield from England, UK celebrated 6 years smoke-free! When she first joined the CBQ Program, Pauline was not at all excited to say goodbye to her cigarettes. She enjoyed smoking a lot, but after smoking for over 40 years up to 30 a day, she felt she had to quit – or at least try.

Despite being skeptical, Pauline did every exercise and every step outlined in the CBQ Program. By day 5 of the program, she felt excited to quit. By day 8, she couldn’t wait! She smoked her last cigarette.

And 6 years later, she’s still a happy non-smoker!

Now Pauline is over 70 years old and feels like 20. Her inspiring journey started when she attended the free CBQ webinar 6 years ago.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Pauline as part of CBQ’s Ask An Ex series. You can watch Pauline sharing her story of how she quit smoking with the Cognitive Behavioral Quitting (CBQ) Program:

Inspiring Quit Smoking Benefits

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Gary Richmond from Michigan, US, celebrated 4 years smoke-free. While interviewing Gary, he told me he smoked his first cigarette when he was just 13 years old. Then, he said, “I smoked for 33 years up to 2 packs a day”. He tried to quit on his own but it didn’t stick. He even switched to vaping but ended up smoking and vaping.

After coming across the CBQ Method, Gary decided to join the members’ program and give it a try. To his surprise, by day 10 of the program he could not smoke more than 2 cigarettes. He quit, and 4 years later, he’s still a happy non-smoker… who has saved over $10000 from not smoking.

Happy “Spotlight Day”! Today I’m excited to share with you this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community.

Inspiring Story

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Angela Battista from Massachusetts, US, celebrated 2 years smoke-free!

After smoking for 48 years and trying everything from nicotine gums and patches to going cold turkey, Angela broke free on September 7, 2023!

But her journey started years before that. Angela joined the program in 2021 but didn’t initially go through it. She said, “I purchased the program in 2021. There were many reasons (excuses) for not completing it then.”

However, after completing the 12-day program, everything changed: “I ended my relationship with cigarettes and am now smoke-free. I tried to quit many times before CBQ, but I always went back. This time, I have zero desire to smoke. I’ve even saved enough money by not smoking to pay for the program and more.”

Most importantly, despite having mild-emphysema, Angela’s breathing improved within a year of quitting smoking!

Angela Battista shares her quit smoking benefits

Three days ago, Angela shared with our members group that she STILL has no desire to smoke!

“Feel great, the days fly by without even the thought of a cigarette.”

CBQ Program member Angela Battista is still a non-smoker

Inspiring Achievement

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Roy Starke from Ohio, US, celebrated 4 years smoke-free. He quit all nicotine after 42 years of smoking daily, WITHOUT WITHDRAWALS.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Roy a few months ago as part of CBQ’s Ask An Ex series. You can watch Roy sharing his story of how he quit smoking with the Cognitive Behavioral Quitting (CBQ) Program, and why he’s proud to be a “quitter” of nicotine and alcohol!

Inspiring Milestone

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Darnelle Hurd from Michigan, US, celebrated 4 years smoke-free! Once a 50 year smoker, she now has zero desire to smoke!

Darnelle Hurd is a happy non-smoker due to the CBQ Method

Four years later, Darnelle is still a happy non-smoker and says that quitting smoking has been one of the most empowering decisions of her life.

Celebrating YOU: This week’s spotlights [September 3, 2025]

Happy “Spotlight Day”!

Today on the first Wednesday of September, I’m thrilled to share with you some of this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community!

Inspiring Transformation

CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Caroline Toby from Florida, US, celebrated 18 months smoke-free!

Caroline said right after she quit: “I thought I would never be able to quit smoking. I’ve tried Chantix twice(which made me a little crazy) and vaping when it first came out. The longest I ever went was a couple of months but I always wasn’t ever happy when I quit. I finally decided to try the CBQ method after stumbling upon it. I really liked Nasia and thought I have to try!! I am so glad I did! It was the best thing I ever did for my life and my health. The program was amazing. Easy to follow, enjoyable to watch, and really eye opening. It got me to the root of why I smoked and really woke me up; making it easier to go through this journey of quitting. This is the first time I’ve ever quit and do not miss smoking. And I am truly a happy non smoker!”

Now, 18 months after her quit date, Caroline is still a happy non-smoker.

She doesn’t miss it.

She doesn’t feel tempted.

She feels free.

This is what she shared with our program members community:

Inspiring Milestone

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Leah Himbeault from Alberta, Canada celebrated 1 year smoke-free!

Leah wanted to quit for her health and grandbabies. She had tried many times to quit smoking but never quit trying to quit!

After joining the CBQ Quit Smoking Program she gave it her all and smoked her last cigarette on day 10 of the program.

“I have just smoked my last Talon cigar with a glass of wine as I promised I would do for myself. I stood over the garbage can afterwards and broke up every remaining smoke in the pack telling them I am done and want to be free! It’s taken longer than expected to get to day 10 but I am ready!

I can’t wait to breath freely without coughing and all the other negative effects this disgusting habit has had on me! Enough is enough.”

Really inspiring, right?!

Leah said: “Worth every penny! Made quitting on day 10 incredibly easy. Still in awe. So grateful for this program. I think it’s pretty incredible they offer so much free support. Also the extra free tools you get when you join the program are amazing.”

What’s even more inspiring is that 1 year later, Leah is still a FREE & HAPPY non-smoker.

CBQ Food Freedom Program: Winner of New Weight Loss Program of the Year 2025/2026! 🎉

by Nasia Davos

Award-winning! We’re beyond thrilled to announce that the CBQ Food Freedom Program has just been named New Weight Loss Program of the Year 2025/2026!

Over the last ten years, our mission has been to help people live healthier and happier lives by changing their habits with the CBQ Quit Smoking Program (Award-winning x3) and now with the CBQ Food Freedom Program!

CBQ Food Freedom Program is named New Weight Loss Program of the Year

A win that means so much

This award is especially meaningful because it’s about the real transformations our members have experienced: breaking free from food struggles, finding peace of mind, healing their bodies, creating a healthy relationship with food, and reaching their ideal weight in a healthy way.

The Food Freedom process was built years ago using the proven CBQ Methodology, but 2024 was the very first year we opened the program to our community. Since then, the results and success stories have been life-changing for our members. And my team and I have loved every minute of hosting the CBQ Food Freedom Program!

And now, in 2025, the judges reviewed our program and methodology, honoring us with this incredible award.

Why this award matters

For us, this award is not only a celebration of the CBQ Method’s science and structure; it’s a reminder of what’s possible when the right process meets the right support.

CBQ Method Awards

But above all, this win belongs to our members. Every success story, every breakthrough, and every step toward food freedom is what makes this program matter.

So whether you joined us at the very beginning or are just learning about Food Freedom today, thank you for being part of this journey.

The CBQ Food Freedom Program is reopening on September 8, 2025, and registrations for this new cohort will close soon.

To show you what makes Food Freedom different from diets or willpower and why it can work for you, I’m hosting our final live masterclass this Saturday: “The 3 Mistakes of Weight Loss (that actually cause us to gain more in the long run).”

If you’ve ever felt like something keeps sabotaging your weight goals, or if food has always been your comfort—this class will show you why diets don’t last, and how Food Freedom can transform not just your weight, but your whole relationship with food.

Celebrating YOU: This week’s spotlights [August 20, 2025]

by Nasia Davos

Happy “Spotlight Day”! I’m excited to share with you some of this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community.

Inspiring Milestone

This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Ashley West Hilliard from Texas, US, celebrated 5 years smoke-free!

Ashley was terrified of quitting smoking. Even though she’d successfully become sober over a decade ago, quitting smoking was the one thing (she thought) she couldn’t do. Before an attempt, she would cry to her husband telling him how afraid she was. After joining the CBQ Program, she realized that there was nothing to be afraid of!

On her 2nd anniversary, Ashley said: “I truly NEVER thought I could quit smoking. When I say never, I really mean that. I started smoking before I was 10 years old (I am not sure of the exact age) and I smoked for 25 years, minus 2 pregnancies. I had all of the reasons why I couldn’t and didn’t want to quit but the CBQ method helped me see how false those beliefs were. I can truly say that I have not wanted to smoke since the day I quit.”

Bonus Tip of the Week

This week’s tip comes from CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Lisa Gunter from Idaho, US who has been a happy non-smoker since April!

This is what Lisa shared this week: Prioritize your quit

“I smoked ,my last cig 127 days ago on April 8th. When i started the program i was not convinced i would ever quit or want to. but working the program every day, I smoked my last cigarette on day 8 but contuied the program all the way thru. I was amazed in the end how extremely easy it was to quit. I am 55 and have smoked since i was 16. Just clear your mind, set away two weeks, breath and just doue the program with no excuses. it does work!!!!”
