Celebrating YOU: This week’s spotlights [March 27, 2024]

by Nasia Davos

Happy “Spotlight Day”! Today, we’re shining the spotlight on this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community.

Without further ado, let’s see the best moments of this week.

Inspiring Milestone

Today, CBQ Program member Rick Fukuda from Ontario, Canada is celebrating 4 years smoke-free! Rick smoked for 40 years until he found the CBQ Program. He committed to following the process to the best of his ability, and he succeeded on March 27, 2020.

As Rick shared on the CBQ Success Page, “I thought as many smokers in the past and those current, stopping will require a miracle. Thanks to Nasia, and the program my miracle has been answered. Words cannot express how grateful I am. I hope my success will offer people hope and inspiration.”

4 years after his quit date, Rick is still a happy non-smoker.

Inspiring Perseverance

CBQ Program member Merrick Westlund from Oklahoma, US, celebrated 100 days smoke-free after smoking for 55 years. For the first time, Merrick is a happy non-smoker. He’s free. Yet, reaching this milestone was a journey. It took him seven attempts to rewire his brain, and every attempt showed him something he had missed before. Now, standing on the other side of the addiction, Merrick is proud.

Merrick Westlund celebrates his 100-day smoke-free milestone.
Merrick Westlund, CBQ Program member, expresses his gratitude to Nasia for helping him quit smoking.

When I asked Merrick what was the best part of being a non-smoker, he said:

“I can finally breathe well enough to play with my grandchildren and dance with my wife!”

Merrick describes what was the best part of being a non-smoker.

(Transformations like Merrick’s, is what the CBQ Program is all about!)

Tip of the Week

This week’s tip comes from CBQ Program member Jodi Woods from Wisconsin, US. Jodi was a smoker for 47 years, and had 14 failed attempts before succeeding with the CBQ Program on February 11, 2020.

Over the last 4 years, Jodi has been sharing remarkable advice with the CBQ Program community and has helped hundreds, if not thousands, of CBQ Program members.

Her tip: Reclaim your power from nicotine.

“Cut off those strings that allow nicotine to manipulate you all day long, day in and day out. Take away any power you have given to nicotine by learning/exposing the real truth. (Nicotine is actually really weak). See for yourself by cutting off those strings, one by one, how much better you can manage all on your own….until one day soon you have no strings attached at all.

Do the exercises and experiments and you will learn how!

We have always been in control of our life, not nicotine, but we were fooled into believing it was what helped, that we needed it, so we just let it take over. It’s really silly when you think about it. We gave it undeserved credit for looking like it was a solution….but it was only the solution for the problem it created in the first place!

There’s absolutely nothing nicotine can do for us except keep us addicted to it. It’s a toxic relationship that takes and takes. It gives nothing back that is of any good for us.

Please continue to learn how to be free.

Please stop giving any power over to nicotine.

Please stop with endless excuses by defending this liar and bully.

You can do this!”

Inspiring Success

This week, CBQ Program member Rick Kohn from Missouri, US, celebrated 6 months smoke-free! After finishing the program, Rick said “The program taught me how to use mindpower to achieve my goal and I felt the program was very well thought out and easy to follow.”

6 months later, he’s still free and proud of his success!

Rick Kohn celebrates being 6 months tobacco-free while holding his CBQ Success Certificate.

As always, a big thank you goes out to all of our amazing members who gave me permission to share their stories with you.

Celebrating YOU: This week’s spotlights [March 20, 2024]

by Nasia Davos

Happy “Spotlight Day”! Today, we’re shining the spotlight on this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community.

This week’s spotlight is packed with inspiration. Let’s dive in!

Inspiring Milestone

This week, CBQ Program member Diane Felix from Vermont, US, celebrated 6 years smoke-free. Diane used to smoke cigarettes and cigarillos. As Diane told me herself during her Ask An Ex interview, almost all her life, smoking felt like a friend and a way to cope with anxiety and pain – physical and mental. Diane has always been a very strong and independent woman, and she hated depending on cigarettes for everything. She wanted to quit, but nothing worked until one day she found the CBQ Program and decided to join. She committed fully to the process, and the rest is history. She quit on March 15, 2018.

5 and a half years later, Diane had saved over US$21000 and regained her health.

6 years after her quit date, Diane has saved even more and is still over the moon with her success!

Inspiring Success

CBQ Program member Fiona Hims from Warwickshire, United Kingdom, celebrated 2 years smoke-free. In her own words “I quit smoking on 16 March 2022 and feel very proud of my achievement, having made numerous failed attempts to quit over many years!

Nasia’s cognitive behaviour approach made complete sense right from the start and changing my smoking pattern from as early as Day 4 did not fill me with panic but with curiosity and desire. For me, that was different to any other method.”

…”I want to thank Nasia for producing such great videos, always understanding my ‘demons’ and welcoming me to her on-line program with love and compassion. Nasia – you are a very special human being. Your visualization was particularly powerful.

I don’t like smoking or hate smoking…….I just choose not to smoke any more. I am happy with my decision to choose freedom and would encourage anyone who wants the benefits of being a non-smoker to start this journey. You will start feeling like the real, best, healthiest version of you within a very short time!”

2 years later, Fiona has saved £10,065!! Incredible!

Tip of the Week

This week, CBQ Program member Brian Reiswig from Oklahoma, US, celebrated 6 months smoke-free after smoking for 52 years!

His spot-on tip was this: Trust the process – even if you have failed before.

Brian was afraid of failure and it took patience and steady steps to trust the process, but it was all worth it. He succeeded and has no desire to smoke. Trusting the process you choose to follow is important, and this becomes a stepping stone to ultimately trusting the most important person: yourself.

“I understand the fear of failure. I tried everything and nothing worked. But this program made sense to me even before I attended the webinar. I knew I had to purchase the program. If I could have quit on my own, I would have done it years ago. I was scared. But I forged ahead. I watched all the videos, most of them multiple times. I did all the exercises and I slowly began to trust the process. It has worked for me. I smoked for 52 years. I have been completely nicotine free for 3 months and I have no desire to go back. You can do this. Do the work and trust the process. You will come out the other side a happy nonsmoker.”

This is Brian with his CBQ Success Certificate

Inspiring Milestone – Quit Vaping

Yesterday, CBQ Program member Caleb Thompson from Virginia, US, celebrated 1 year vape-free! Caleb was addicted to vaping and never thought he’d quit let alone find it easy! This is what he said: “I’m seriously so, so happy with your program. I never, ever thought I’d be able to quit vaping at all, much less quit so easily but I never even have come close to relapsing!” “This is easily the best-working product in my life and I couldn’t be happier.”

This is Caleb with his CBQ Success Certificate

1 year later, Caleb is still a happy non-vaper!

As always, a big thank you goes out to all of our amazing members who gave me permission to share their stories with you.
