Happy “Spotlight Wednesday”!
Today, I’m excited to share with you some of this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community.
Let’s dive in!
Inspiring Milestone
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Trevor Starr from Vermont, US, celebrated 8 years smoke-free!
Trevor was no stranger to quit smoking attempts. He wanted to be healthier, but at the same time, smoking was an inseparable part of his life. As Trevor told me during this Ask An Ex episode, when he came across the CBQ Program, he felt hopeful that it could work. When he started the program, he was still worried about feeling deprived, gaining weight, and failing.
But he decided to commit to the process. The result? Trevor quit smoking, completely transformed his life, and lost 35 pounds! He said: “I used to wake up and smoke, then have coffee and smoke, then drive to work and have a smoke. Now, I wake up and exercise every morning, and I love it. I don’t even think about smoking. I love this program, and I’m telling all my smoker friends about it.”

Inspiring Milestone
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Marie-Alice Belle from Ontario, Canada, celebrated 1 year smoke-free!
Marie-Alice has made several attempts to quit in the past, but nothing has helped her stop for more than a few days. Still, Marie-Alice didn’t give up! She was motivated to quit because of her daughter, and kept searching for a way to quit. When she found the CBQ Program, she joined, completed the program, and quit!
A year later, Marie-Alice is proud to call herself “a happy non-smoker.” She’s grateful she doesn’t smell like tobacco when she kisses her daughter goodnight.

Inspiring Success
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Rickey Martin from Texas, US, celebrated 3 years smoke-free!
Rickey smoked half a pack a day for 30 years and loved his cigarettes. He thought that he could never quit smoking, as he had tried quitting many times before. When he found the CBQ program, he felt confident it could work for him. He completed all 12 days of the program, and broke free!
This is what Rickey shared about his journey, “I must say it’s been easy for me, not what I expected! Nobody loved their cigs more than me. Follow the program, use the tools, you can do it! I smoked half a pack a day for 30 years. Never thought I could quit. Tried everything 4 or 5 times. But from day1 with CBQ, I knew I was going to be successful, and I was.”

Inspiring Transformation
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Eleonora Galli from Berkshire, UK, celebrated 5 years smoke-free!
Eleonora smoked for 30 years. During this time she made a couple of serious quit attempts, but ended up back to smoking. While searching for a solution, she came across the CBQ Program and it was the first time she found a method that addresses both the mental and behavioral attachment to smoking. as
To her surprise, Eleonora quit on day 7 of the program, 3 days before her quit date! Still, she completed the program and has never looked back since.
Committed to improving her life, a few years after she quit, Eleonora also joined the CBQ Food Freedom program and changed her relationship with food.
This is what Eleonora shared last year about her journey:
“CBQ Method truly enriched my life. I quit smoking 4 years ago with Nasia’s method and I never looked back. What is really different from the other methods(I had tried a couple of others previously) is the focus on awareness and behavioural approach, plus a lovely supporting community. I joined the Food program as well and I have to say it improved my food habits and awareness about my relationship with food. Nasia and her team are brilliant, they are there for you whatever questions or help you need during your journey.”

5 years after her quit date, Eleonora is still a happy non-smoker!

Inspiring Mindset
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Courtney Lockburner from New Jersey, US, is celebrating 4 years smoke-free!! After many failed attempts, Courtney decided to commit to the CBQ Program completely. She entered the process with an open mind, chose to believe in herself, and above all, prioritized her quit-smoking effort. In her own words, “Give yourself the dedicated time for the program. You deserve that.”
Courtney quit while putting her dear grandfather to rest. In her first vacation as a non-smoker, she encountered tons of triggers and had only 1 craving. Over the last 4 years, she has had no withdrawals. This was possible because Courtney finally knew that all smoking ever gave her was guilt and lies.
Courtney shared that the program is the best thing she’s done for herself.
“The program was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Do the exercises and everything clicks at the end.I delayed sending this because I wanted to make sure I made it thru traveling to visit old friends, all of whom smoke. I did it!! Your method helped me succeed in a situation that I was bound to fail at. only had one craving… the whole time!! Life is better not being a smoker. Thank you so much for teaching a better way to quit. Thank you so much for giving me my life back.”
This is her story in her own words:

4 years later, Courtney is still a happy non-smoker!
Inspiring Success – Quit Vaping
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Patty Davis from Florida, US, celebrated 2 years smoke-free!
Patty smoked for 30 years and then vaped for 10 years. Vaping had become part of her life and it was hard to let it go. After attending CBQ quit smoking masterclass, Patty decided to join the CBQ program so she can break free from nicotine completely. Before her quit date, Patty was scared to quit, so she went back three lessons and did every step in the program again until she was confident. She quit!
“I thank God and the CBQ Method program and all the CBQ workers. Thank you!”
2 years later, Patty is still a happy non-vaper.
This is what she shared a few days ago:
“I just had my two year anniversary of totally quitting nicotine. I smoked for 30 years and quit the cigarettes with the help of vaping. 10 long years later, I have finally quit the vaping. Nicotine is so addicting. I had doubts myself as I figured nothing would work. But I shelled out the money and got this program. I, of course, had my doubts, but I followed the program exactly how you’re supposed to. I did not change one thing. I did all the things was asked to do. You also had all kinds of help to try to get rid of cravings, many different ones. Well, let me tell you, once you go through all these different ways of getting rid of this craving, you will not have the craving. Put your mind on these rules as if your life depended on it, and, actually, it does. For example, one rule, is the five, six, seven breathing rule. I mean, I never thought it would work for me. But it did. I went very slow. I didn’t do it in amount of time it said. I repeated a couple of the classes cause I knew I really wasn’t quite ready to quit. By the time I did all that, I quit!!! I was in shock myself. It is definitely worth it. I’m sure it doesn’t work for everyone, but for the people that it does work for, thank you!!
PS Just got back from a weeklong vacation, flying out to the other side of the country and visiting two states. I was so grateful I didn’t have to go try to find a place to vape or smoke. That’s worth it so much and all you smokers know what I mean. Wishing you the best.”
