Inspiring Freedom
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Lori Scobey from Tennessee, US, celebrated 5 years smoke-free!
For 49 years, smoking had been part of Lori’s life. She started as a teenager and had never tried to quit until she was diagnosed with early-stage COPD. The diagnosis made her think about her future. She pictured a woman shopping with an oxygen tank and knew she didn’t want that to be her story.
Lori tried different ways to quit, including reading books, cutting down, and going cold turkey, but none worked for her. She kept searching for a way to stop smoking and found the CBQ Program.
As Lori progressed through the program, she committed herself to the lessons, completed the exercises, and put the techniques she learned into practice. On Day 10 of the program, she smoked her last cigarette.
5 years ago, Lori couldn’t imagine a life without cigarettes. Now, she shared she can hardly remember being a smoker.
During our Ask An Ex interview, Lori shared her story of how she quit with the CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program and her advice for lifetime smokers who believe it’s too late for them.

Inspiring Story
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Heaven Leigh Day from Texas, US, celebrated 4 years smoke-free!
This is what Heaven shared about her story:
“My name is Heaven Leigh Day I’m 30 years old and i am a recovering drug addict and ex smoker! 🙂 I come from a background of addiction my father passed away in his addiction in 2015 and my mother is still currently active in her addiction i surrendered and gave my life to to the lord nearly 2 years ago and have been sober ever since, But there was still 1 thing that was killing me slowly taking all my energy, my money, my confidence making my teeth yellow and my clothes stinky one thing that i just absolutely could not shake…………… CIGARETTES!!!! I started smoking cigarettes when I was 13 years old. At first, it was social, yes, of course, but then it became addictive. i literally never thought i would live a life without cigarettes i just DID NOT think it was possible i felt i was trapped to smoking forever UNTIL…… a friend of mine googled how to quit smoking he came across the cbq method my first reaction was that wont work she probably never even smoked a ciggerate in her life. A few weeks passed, and I decided I’ll attend the webinar; it was free, why not. And from there, my whole world changed. I knew, knew, knew without a doubt I was going to be a non-smoker at the end of this 12-day program. i am so thankful to nasia and her brain that created this wonderful, life-changing miracle program for smokers. I thank the lord every day for nasia and her team for helping me through this.
October 19 2026 marks my 4 years of freedom thank you cbq 🖤🧡”

Inspiring Milestone: Quit IQOS
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Inese Keisha from Scotland, UK, celebrated 5 years smoke-free. Inese shared that when she first joined the CBQ Program, she was extremely skeptical it would work for her.
“I didn’t think anything positive about this method. I spent money and thought if I could just last long enough to get my money back by not smoking IQOS for 2 months. I’d quit before, for 2 pregnancies, but only until I stopped breastfeeding. I tried an easyway book and seminar, electroshock, hypnotherapy, sheer willpower, replacements, acupuncture… nothing stuck. I didn’t believe this would work either.”
But the CBQ Program did work. On the 10th day of the program, she quit and never looked back!
This is what Inese shared, “But here I am! Juggling two energetic kids, a job, a house, and a garden, and not a single thing could persuade me to smoke again… not even one cigarette. I’m out often, even amidst smokers, and I just feel lucky that I don’t have to feed that craving anymore.”
5 years later, Inese is still a happy non-smoker. This is Inese with her CBQ Freedom Certificate:

Inspiring Milestone: Quit Vaping
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Wendy-May Jacobs from England, UK, celebrated 10 months vape-free!
Wendy-May had tried to quit vaping many times, but she always found herself going back. She wanted to break the habit of vaping on autopilot, and make her quit last without feeling her hands and routine are empty without it.
When she joined the CBQ Program, she immersed herself in the exercises and followed each step. On Day 10, she quit vaping!
And she knows that having even “just one”, could pull her back into the habit that made her feel trapped and unwell for years.
10 months later, Wendy-May is still happily vape-free! This is Wendy-May holding her CBQ Freedom Certificate:
