Let’s dive in!
Inspiring Milestone
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Patti Murphy from Maryland, US, celebrated 4 years smoke-free after 50 years of smoking!
Patti started smoking when she was a teenager, and tried to quit many times. Even though she was able to abstain from smoking, she had constant cravings, which caused her to eventually relapse. Then at 67 years old, she came across the CBQ Program and joined hoping it would be her last quit.
With an open mind, she completed every step at her own pace. On Day 10 of the program she smoked her last cigarette and “put the remainder of the pack in the ugliest trash bag I could find.”
Since quitting smoking, Patti has felt zero desire to go back.
In her first year of being smoke-free, she saved $4000.
On her 3rd year milestone she was still amazed at her success. This is what she shared:
After 50 years I was able to quit smoking and have been smoke free for over 3 years! This program is incredible!

After quitting smoking, Patti wanted to focus on her overall health and joined the CBQ Food Freedom Program. She went on to lose 18 pounds without willpower!
4 years after her quit date, Patti is still a happy non-smoker. This is Patti with her CBQ Freedom Certificate:

Patti’s Tip: Allow yourself to feel the freedom!
“For me it has been a matter of allowing myself to feel the freedom. Sometimes we’re so hung up on a bad habit that we fail to internalize the good we’re doing when we pull away. Try congratulating yourself regularly. Perhaps every time you start obsessing about being smoke free, try replacing those thoughts with positive thoughts, like “Yeh, I’m smoke free!!!!”

Inspiring Success
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Jessica Pagano from Western Australia celebrated 2 years smoke-free!
Jessica smoked for 13 years and tried quitting with different medications and NRT, but nothing gave her the lasting freedom she was looking for. Deep down, she knew she needed something more: to address the root of the addiction and change her relationship with smoking. When she came across the CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program, she finally felt she had found that answer. And she did!
In her own words: “This was a life-changing program and I cannot believe how easy quitting was! Thank you so much, Nasia, from the bottom of my heart!”
Jessica’s tip: Prioritize your quit
“My biggest tip would be to allow yourself the time and mental space to invest fully into the program. I was successful when I stopped making excuses and prioritised my journey.”
2 years after her quit date, Jessica is still a happy non-smoker! This is Jessica holding her CBQ Freedom Certificate:

Inspiring Milestone
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Cindy Silveira from Indiana, US, celebrated 3 years smoke-free!
Cindy smoked for 45 years and feared she would be a smoker forever. She had tried to quit several times before by going cold turkey and trying quit smoking medication, but nothing had worked for her.
When Cindy got diagnosed of COPD, she knew she needed to keep trying to quit smoking. Her dream was to become a grandma one day and be able to hold her grandbaby without coughing or smelling like cigarettes.
While searching for something that could finally help her quit, she kept coming across the CBQ Method.
After doing her research and reading reviews, Cindy decided to take a chance on the program. She completed the CBQ Program and quit smoking on October 1, 2023.
To her surprise, quitting felt much easier than she had imagined. In her own words: “It was the easiest thing I thought I could never do”.
This is what Cindy shared about her journey:

3 years later, Cindy is still a happy non-smoker. This year, her dream came true! She became a grandma, and feels grateful she can hold her grandson without coughing, and can plan for many happy years ahead!
Inspiring Milestone
This week, CBQ Nicotine Freedom Program member Melissa Trevino from Texas, US, celebrated 7 years smoke-free!
Melissa had been thinking about quitting smoking for a long time. After successfully losing 22 pounds, she felt ready to take another step toward improving her health: quit smoking.
While looking for a way to quit, Melissa found the CBQ Program. The approach resonated with her, and she felt the step by step guidance could help her become smoke-free.
As Melissa went through the program, she began preparing herself mentally for life without cigarettes. She made a list of the pros and cons of smoking, visualized how she would feel, look, and behave as a non-smoker, and set her quit date.
Melissa’s quit date arrived before she had completed the full program, but by then, she felt ready. She smoked her last cigarette, became smoke-free, and continued the remaining lessons as a non-smoker.
7 years later, Melissa is still a happy non-smoker! This is Melissa holding her CBQ Freedom Certificate:
