Happy “Spotlight Day”!
Let’s spread some inspiration with this week’s most inspiring success stories from the CBQ community!
Inspiring Milestone
This week we’re celebrating CBQ Program member Diana Skill from Missouri, US, who is 6 years smoke-free. Diana was a smoker for 40 years. She was smoking 5-7 cigarettes a day and each of those cigarettes felt precious and impossible to let go of.
After finding the CBQ Quit Smoking Program and seeing all the success stories, her first thought was, “This is so good that I’m not sure if it’s real. I’m skeptical.” Because nothing else had worked for her.
But then she asked herself “what do I have to lose?”. She decided to take the leap and complete the program.
The result?
“Liberation”
This is what Diana recently shared about her experience:
“I tend to be somewhat jaded and skeptical–if not suspicious–about impressive claims made by those selling something. Part of me wants to write a book about my experience with CBQ and Davos, but I won’t. I smoked for years. I came across the program when surfing the net one night and had major doubts but sat in on their webinar. They said if you did the work in the program and could show you did the work, if it didn’t work, they would refund your money. I did the program and it helped me to see the bullshit my mind made me believe for so many years. It wasn’t a sacrifice; it wasn’t painful. It was liberation. It’s been six years and I am so grateful on so many levels. The program does work. I think I’d go so far to tell you that it’s ok to get your hopes up about this. It’s a worthy investment.”
Inspiring Father’s Day
This week CBQ Program member Andy Huff from Georgia, US, shared with our CBQ Program community his 4-year milestone.
After 35 years of smoking and countless quit attempts with nicotine lozenges, vaping, and Wellbutrin, Andy became a non-smoker on Father’s Day, June 20, 2021. (A very important date to him!)
“Today is actually the 4th anniversary of my quit date. Thank you Nasia!!!!”

Inspiring Milestone
This week, CBQ Program member Irene Alldred from Ontario, Canada, celebrated 5 years smoke-free!
Irene was a smoker for 52 years and had given up hope that she could ever be free.
But after completing the CBQ Quit Smoking Program, this is what happened:
“After smoking for 52 years I signed up for Nasia’s program and on the 10th day at 11pm I smoked my last smoke. What a change to be smoke free. I feel so much better and not having to worry about where I am going to have a smoke and the big thing now that I am retired is the cost.
Thank you again for your program and all your help and support. I recommend your program to everyone.”
And this was her advice (shared from her husband’s profile):
“Time flies by. Stop while you can.”
To your freedom,
Nasia Davos (MBPsS, IPPA, MA)
