Happy “Spotlight Wednesday” and Happy Holidays! Christmas and 2026 are just around the corner!
Today, I’m excited to share with you some of this week’s most inspiring success stories and tips from the CBQ community.
Let’s dive in!
Inspiring Milestone
This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Lesley Inglis from Australia celebrated 2 years smoke-free! Lesley was a smoker for 47 continuous years and tried to quit many times over the years to no avail. After attending the free CBQ masterclass, she decided to try the program.
In her own words, “I have smoked for 47 years and I gave the CBQ method a half hearted go and the more I got into it the more I became confident that I could do this. I’ve tried pretty well everything out there to stop smoking but to no avail. I enjoyed the program because of the enlightenment it opened up for me. I love being free. It’s gone so quickly and I don’t miss smoking at all. The CBQ program is fantastic, it made me realise that I am the boss of my so called addiction. Thank you Nasia for your persistence in discovering what makes us tick xxx”
2 years later, Lesley is still a happy non-smoker!

Tip of the Week
This week’s tip comes from CBQ Program member Baran Asan from England, UK, who has been smoke-free since December 13, 2020!
Baran’s tip: Stop keeping your real self caged
This is the review Baran shared about his experience with the CBQ Quit Smoking Program:
“Honestly do not know where to start. It’s been life changing. I tried so many other ways to quit before and always failed. I felt so guilty and envied other people that did not smoke. I was suffering with asthma which went away few years after I stopped smoking. I had weight issue also which was getting worse because I kept trying to stop smoking. I still remember the online session with Nadia and how much it made me realise that the addiction did not need another tool or medication to solve. The daily routine planner and the motivational videos and mentally imbedding the goal and vision worked for me. Recently it’s been 4 years since I smoked my last cigarette. I have had so many occasions when truly before would have gone back to smoking but I was so strong mentally it made me smile and feel proud to be so strong. I have improved my health and my self image so much that I am totally a different person. Nadia truly deserves more than she is credited for. Don’t keep yourself caged up and free yourself. If you truly and whole heartedly want to give up smoking this course is for you.”

Inspiring Success
This week, CBQ Quit Smoking Program member Michael Blackstone from Missouri, United States celebrated 2 years smoke-free!
Michael was a smoker for 23 years. Since quitting smoking he said “I could not imagine juggling life’s ups and downs with the additional stress of maintaining a nicotine addiction on top of it. I feel lucky to have stumbled on a random Ted Talk that led to the program that helped me understand how change is possible inside of all of us (even if it took a couple times).”
This is what Michael recently shared with our community:
I’ll be at 2 years next week. This program worked for me and paid for itself after a couple of months.
